Nyles did a fantastic setup job on my new Fender Jazzmaster. He even implemented a unique fix for the floating bridge that constantly threw the guitar out of intonation. It’s never played or felt better since he worked on it. Fantastic work, will be bringing all my instruments here from now and recommending all my musician friends do the same. Thanks Nyles!

The Guitar Whisperer!!! Totally trust your precious instruments to be well-cared for by a knowledgeable, honest craftsman. He fixed my 2000 Martin HD28 after it developed a hairline crack in the top....the crack is stable and somehow it sounds and plays even better? He has some kind of magic.Next I brought my 1973 S. Yairi and he fixed the action, tuned up the tuners, and gave it a good polish. It is 50 years old, but it looks and plays like new again. It is really comforting to have an expert (and did I say he is also super nice...talked me out of blaming myself for the crack!) to consult. Thank you! 🎶🙏❤️

Phenomenal service. I have had Nyles do work on my guitars about half a dozen times now, and he always does a spectacular job. In particular I like to use a lot of drop tunings (Drop A#, C Standard, etc.), and Nyles is the only person I have found in Reno who has consistently done an excellent job setting them up. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a guitar tech.

Nyles Reynolds went above and beyond on the bridge reglue for my Cordoba classical guitar. He cleaned and polished the frets, changed strings, and even gave me a guitar humidifier to prevent the same issue going forward. He was really pleasant and easy to communicate with and had a really fast response time. I loved being able to quickly text with him. I am glad that I found Reynolds guitar and highly recommend.

I just got my electric guitar back from Niles and I have to say I'm very impressed with his work. The guitar required fret work, intonation, Floyd rose adjustment and some electrical. The guitar is set up better now than it was when it was new and all for a very reasonable price. If you need work done on your guitar, give him a call.

Nyles is the best guitar repair guy in all of Reno. Don't bother going to the Guitar Shop. Nyles is highly trained and has the experience to help you with all your guitar repairs. Electric or acoustic doesn't matter, he tells you up front what your guitars needs and has the work done in a reasonable time and for a fair price. I thought my 1978 12 string Ovation was beyond repair (warped deck) but Nyles figured out a way to repair it! That guitar sings! I highly recommend Nyles Guitar Repair.

Nyles did a re fret on my almost 50yr old Gibson Heritage I bought new shortly after high school, I told him My Breedlove was always easier to play than the Gibson, he suggested I bring in my Breed love in and he would try to match the Gibsons action to the Breedlove. OH MY GOD! his work was impeccable! My Gibson has never played so nice and the fret work was nothing short of perfect! What more can I say!

I am so glad that my friend recommended Reynolds’s Guitar Repair to me. Niles has recently two of my guitars, one a Yamaha AC3R and the other a Guild F30. He has done outstanding work on both. He gets the work done on time and his attention to detail is amazing, One of the guitars needed some fret work and the frets now look better and play smother than ever. His prices are incredibly reasonable and he’s a great guy to interact with. He’s now my go to guy for guitar repair. I wish I could give him more than five stars. He’s the best I’ve ever used.

I have been looking for a go-to place to take my guitar in Reno. I had tried other shops but was never really happy with the quality of the work nor with the price point - I am so happy to have found my shop! I cannot say enough good things about Nyles. I dropped off my guitar Sunday afternoon and picked it up the next day. He works very hard to get your work done as soon as possible while maintaining a high degree of quality. Other shops in Reno charge over double the price and offer less than half the quality and experience. Additionally, I have found other shops treat me like a number and are a bit condescending at times. In speaking with Nyles, one understands right away that they are speaking to someone who is truly passionate about, and loves, what they do - it feels like talking to a close friend rather than someone you are doing business with. Heck, he even complimented my guitar when I took it out of its case! I cannot say enough good things about Reynolds Guitar Repair!

I absolutely love Reynolds Guitar repair! I've been taking my bass guitars to them for about a year now, and my basses have never sounded any better! I bought an Ibanez sr300 from guitar center and it had a lot of fret buzz and many other issues, so I took it to Reynolds Guitar repair.
